Security Policy for Jamaica |

| The
National Security Policy for Jamaica was
tabled in Parliament on June 12, 2007. The
document was first tabled as the National
Security Strategy (NSS) Green Paper in
Parliament in January 2006 by the Government
of Jamaica. The general public, the press,
communities and individual stakeholders,
including Non-Governmental organizations, were
invited to submit their views and comments on
the proposals outlined. These comments were
taken into account in the drafting the
National Security Strategy White Paper, which
is now appropriately titled, National Security
Policy for Jamaica. The
